Vincent: The Secret of Myers (Video Game)

I've only played Pyre, which is fantastic. Gorgeous art, great characters and story, and I enjoyed the magic basketball games too. The characters nominated for Yuletide are some of my favorites and I eagerly look forward to the letters.

I have also seen it described as "the game about liberty and revolution and found families and atonement, which also manages to be a game about occult basketball."

If you are at all into the Very Difficult Platformer genre, Celeste is an excellent example of it. Gorgeous pixel art, great soundtrack and a story about (quite literally) confronting anxiety and self-doubt. There are plenty of accessibility options if you need to tailor the experience, but you do need to find platformers fun!

That's the only one of these I've played, but I've also seen Night in the Woods and Oxenfree highly recommended.

I've played Oxenfree! It's about 11-ish hours of content, a choose-your-own-path story by way of selecting dialogue, making decisions, and solving a few gentle puzzles. Recommended for the art style, great characters and VAs, and eerie storyline with some neat twists using the medium.

I played A Normal Lost Phone after seeing it here on your list. I really liked it. No time limit (as far as I can tell), puzzles that require some thought, and a storyline I cared about.
